absoloutly incredible work here truly impressed seems like you are starting to get alot of followers on this forum keep up the good work and updates im hooked

Absolutely awesome amount of work and skill going into this![]()
Have taken to biting my toenails waiting for next installment![]()
Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive, anyway.
Hi guys..
Ofcourse there can´t be a weekend without any pics from me
i´ve been working houses chimney,, finally done.. it was i minor h_ll to complete.
Installed a stainless hose into the chimney to get it leak free.
anyway some pics of manifold i´m building.
first the 'slit' i was talking about:
and some outside pics mounted and testing buildup for throttlebody:
And final some work on what will be the bosses for injectors, and compared to my own manifold:
I´ve been promised the exhausthousing this week,, let us all keep our fingers crossed or something to bring me luck.
I can then start to build exhaustmanifold, the one i started to build befor has gone the drain as my plans changed a bit when i bougt the GT3582r turbo.
Cheers.
//Insane......
now you have been doing another one do you have an idea on time and cost if you were to make more to sell. i would like one still

I´m not done with the first i´m building,, it´s the one on the pics i´m posting.
but soon it´s done.
About 4-5 hours more(doing that this week). then it´s done and i´ll calculate the prize.

ok cheers.
i will keep an eye on you thread.

Wow, alot of work gone into that inlet.....and to get it to the same point as your own alot more work to come still, your going to be very busy![]()
Liking the concept of the wrc(letter box) style entry into the plenumNot how i would of done it exactly but along the same idea

Keep up the good work![]()
"THE ROB"
looks similar theory to the inlet on the audi r8 engine, the ALMS car, not the road car, great work!

A couple of pics from me.
the welder started to bug me.. the gas didn´t flow evenly.
then suddenly there was no gas left.
but i´ll change the tube tomorrow.
the coils are into the valvecover:
Thats all folks for today.

Forgot this qustion.
I use my own throttlebody that i have cnc´d at work.
The piping are:
4" from filter to turbo
3" from turbo to IC
4" from ic to throttle.
as many might see this is quite 'oversized' but it´s based on that the N/A engine should have no restrictions in unboosted area.
This allows massive flow even before the turbo spools.
Wich equals to massive exhaustgasses....spools big turbos in ,, notime![]()
What made you choose those particular coil packs?
it looks like you will have some difficulty with the number 3 and 4 coils as they look very close to get the wires connected??
i miss my vauxhalls breaking down
id like a inlet manifold if you ever make some
Incredible hand work man, top quality pieces, awesome car too!
What's the final weight you expect for this car?
**** the bed, that is amazing work, much respect to you and the build!!![]()
I have been running a side project for my friend.
He has done the work. i stood for the brains and the skill.
Almost a std C20let dynoed 468hk at 2.0bar pressure.
He wanted a lowrevving LET that sniffed on 500hk.
almost an impossible job.. but what the heck.
A challenge is fun.
The head got minor mods into chamber to get more swirl and less ping sensitive.
all the rest on the head was left unmodded.
pistons = std LET got some work on the crown also for less pinging.
H-profile rods
uprated oilpump
balanced and blueprinted bottom.
XE flywheel with Saab 9-3 'viggen' clutchplate with an sinterplate.
EDS thingy on the throttlebody to get more flow.
Kina cheap IC.
GReddy TypeRS bov
PeterG exhaustmanifold
Tial 38mm wastegate
Precision 'SC44' turbo with 0.63 A/R on exhaust.
3" exhaust all the way.
DTA S60pro EMS
900cc injectors.
And an Walbro fuelpump.
that´s all.
the engine produced 468hk(6000rpm) and 588Nm(4500rpm with 90% at 3500rpm,and an almost a flat curve)
The engine should produce almost or over 500hk if boost is upped to 2.2-2.3bar.
but they left it at 2.0bar.

would it be a bit easier for the inlet if you cut the flange off standard one and build up from there so that the water pipe is done
vauxhallparts http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...h/DSC00495.jpg
all that power from standard LET pistonscarnt see them lasting too long unless they are forged??
great figures tho, what inlet is that engine running. any pics/vids??
