Had a couple of mates round today to get camber and tracked up took about 4 hours but will be worth it, on the trailer ready for the paint shop then get wiring finished and inside seats, belts exstingushers etc. Next event is at Mira on the 12th April hope nowt falls off and we dont bin itlmao
Never tried it moving yet kev, but with the rotory dial fully anti clockwise its heavy as hell, and when fully clockwise its a one finger job lock to lock while sitting stationary, dont even need engine running its class....
Got the column sorted turns out the torque sensor on the column was fooked fitted new column works great. Also been painted should get wrining finished then decals on Monday i will get some pics up at weekend prior to decals.
What was the fualt with yours like kev, mine is a bit odd like, mine seems heavy when you first start using it, turn the dial to heavay and back to light and its fine ? might be becouse its stood a year like in bedroom.....
I have not driven the car yet will today/tomorrow but the problem with mine was it felt like it was working then.
Looked at it bit more and on the side of the column under small metal cover is what looks a bit like TPS this is the torque convertor.
They should be set then glue is applied to keep it in place mine didnt have the glue in so i can only assume the previous owner had replaced it.The adjustment is very sensitive and it gave me a big headache trying to get it to work hence i replaced the column.
Fitting seats etc tomorrow then decals on Monday then sit back for a few days ready for the weekend at Mira Cant wait this has been a long 2 month, i wont be crashing anymore
