    I need inlet,fuel rail, injectors,DISpak,bottom pulley,crank sensor/bracket, engine loom

Ahh, the 1L tank explains the engine dieing with 1/4 tank,Lol. That also means you dont have a fuel return line Lol

    smallblock 8v turbo mate.

User called cheeze is selling a Courtenay manifold, turbo & some other bits. Get some low CR pistons from Mattheus & then fit a dirrty great intercooler & megasquirt. Blow them XEs into the weeds.

Re handling, you can strengthen, polybush, rosejoint & uprate all day long, but the same mods on a smallblock will reap better rewards. A pukka smallblock will overtake an XE* round the inside or outside of a bend, you choose.

*Said XE was plate strengthened with Bilstein cup dampers, polybushes & -60mm.
    it's a C20XE not a fookin Redtop FFS

depends on your shell as it goes, and turrets are a good idea, as the original 'turrets' arent really designed to take the load of the rear of the car

spanish, dunno how much 18xe's are, gonna be investigating next year though

they are very responsive to a set of pistons and some cams, was chatting to a guy who has afiberglass shelled nova in the BRCC with an 18 in it, 237 bhp, still on a wet sump and the torque is apparently quite impressive, definitely the engine i'd pick to start with now

The thing is that on most trackdays you can't overtake on the corners anyway.

If you've got an LET nova (even running standard boost) stripped out, stiffened up, decent suspension and good tyres you'll be able to hold it in the corners then absolutely poop yourself going down the straights and watch the small block novas disappear in your rear view mirror as they try to keep up by revving to 9k!! lmao
