It's not mint mate, it's ten years old. It is a shame to use it as a track car admitedly and i'm sure it will get alot worse. Honestly it don't have that patch in real life. I don't think. I will check as I say when this rain stops as in the rain it looks normal.

The wierd bit on the door must be the reflection from the tree opposite. However it is also done to the HTC camera. Don't seem to make out silver very well.

Now it looks worse. It's not there in real life, but due to examining it so hard I found a lil scratch

You cant see funk all above, the colour/light is from the change in angle of the panel.
I'm louder than gods own revolver and twice as shiney.
i know, it's the camera on the HTC don't like silver.

Today I had two new tyres fitted, I decided to go for the new Uniroyal rainsports, great tyres. There awesome in the wet and good in the dry. So I will use these as wet trackday wheels/road wheels. Getting the buckled wheel off the car has improved it even more. It seriously makes you want to thrash it everywhere. I feel I should be wearing a baseball cap and listening to jungle, it's a hooligan car lmao
Also bought some clear side repeaters, fitted them. Have ordered the cam belt kit and aux belt kit (best to change tensioners etc) Gonna do water pump too. So once it's fully serviced and running as a good standard car the mods will start, but not before I get on track with it in pretty much standard (brake uprated).

Sounds like your enjoying it, which is good.

hmm agree with gaz, theres definately something fishy with the paint on drivers door, like the lacquers reacted or something. can clearly see it from this angle

Dam thats looks hurt lol! Look at the angle of the drivers seat... lack of talent huh!
Well loving it atm.

clio looking good mate, should be a nice fun track car. ive got someone coming down to do a deal on my corsa tommorrow so by this time tommorrow evening i should have a black facelift one, quite looking forward to driving it tbh as ive heard great things about them even tho i swore i would never again own a french car lol
There great mate! /currently taken the front end off to do the cambelt. However also gonna play with the inlet manifold and a few other things.

lol @ listening to jungle .. wicked
wish my car made me feel like that lol
On the 172's a bit of power can be had by matching and porting the inlet manifolds. So as I stripped the car to do a cambelt and full service I decided to take the manifolds off and match the inlet. Pics aren't great will use my SLR to get better ones. They are finished in wd40'd 60 grit (so 70-ish?). The upper inlet has been opened up to the lower inlets size. After researching the big companies leave the step into the head from the inlet as figures showed opening them as big cause loss of mid range torque.
Number 1 and 4 were really bad, with some mad casting marks
Also thought I would put a pic of flatouts new ride, I love it! Mk1 cavalier
Update tomorrow, will be a good one as atm the front end is completly off to do the cambelt/aux belt and water pump

Completed inlet... been doing it between jobs
Also resanded the shiny bit
This is what you have to do to do the cambelt...lmao
Oh and naughty stuff has started... Whats missing..
Ah that stuff, it even had deadening down the side! I replace the heat shield part so the manifold doesn't heat the brake lines!
Tomorrow I got the cambelt to do... great.

The step is there to prevent reversion that can occur in the midrange without it which causes a loss of power apparently

Good work! While the step is indeed to prevent reversion and is therefore valid and in fact common tuning advice on any engine, its worth marking up to make sure its an even amount all round the port. It only needs to be a little, between half a mm and one, so anything more than that can probably be removed for increased flow.
LMFAO at the cambelt!
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming... "f*ck, what a trip!"
Well it's back together
Fitted a new mount too
Got a cold air feed in the bumper vent thing, and one going to go lower down
I then gave it a quick clean and a gold class wax... just to clean it for now. CaME UP WELL
I also sanded and polished the headlights, so they look clean again.
Now to go rape Nicole...
