I drove my mini round everyday last winter stripped out with no heaters and no gromits in the bulkhead so the wind and rain came in

I wish the anti-turret plebs on NL would read this last page or 2. Ive been shot down in flames for having mine turreted.

Another Nova with rapid 'WIP' progress. A good read, love the bit about the brakes not being bled. Theft deterrent.

and whist i say heaters are for girls, i do remember a feburary track day at donnington where i had to get my spare jumper and put it over my legs old man stylee to stop my legs from freezing on the way there, probably would have fitted a heater there and then if i had onelmao

heated screens are awesome though...

Nothing wrong with turreting the rear.

The only reason the NL people are moaning is because it doesnt serve any of the following purposes

1) Cant fix a delta kit to it
2) Cant fix neons to it
3) They dont have the technical skill to weld/or cant afford to pay a mechanic to do the work and then claim they built the car.
4) Why would a 1.2 need turreted arches?

i havent got to that point yet, maybe as i can get some fairly decent heat off the exhaust tunnel for my handslmao

i should say, it was bloody cold that day at donnington, pit lane wasnt even opened all day cos of ice on the entry, we had to use the melbourne loop to get on and offlmao i dont normally find it too cold without a heater, huggy seats see

All of the above true, just when 9 people against one are saying 'nah mate turrets arent needed' I just sit back & say yeah OK.

Again if they understood the principles they wouldnt buy coilovers with the intention of slamming it only to wind them right down & lose nearly all travel which kinda defeats the reasoning behind paying for coilovers.

Most of the guys on NL are pretty cool nowadays but some of the lesser knowledgable people can be so stubborn & closed minded.

just read that thread about handling on there, some horrificly wrong opinions if you ask me, especially about spring rates, and the guy that said doing the lower coilover mount and turrets is for show is a numpty, i just do my thing, if people dont agree, whatever...

When I bought my Gax kit Rally design wouldn't ship it till they had told me that it needed strengthening!!!!

I may end up rear turreting anyway. Not for lowness more for Space! ALL my coilovers are set with at least 1/2 travel to go! My Nova isn't about looks its about working well
