So todays update.
Still waiting on shims, I decided to go to the nova and bolt some bits on. Quite exciting really!
Bolted one of my wheels on, they are team Dynamics Pro Race 1's. My god they are light, I took them to get balenced and the guy even commented when he picked them up. I guess they must weigh around 6kg each with tyres. There wearing Yoko A048R's in a M compound.
They look great too!
I also fitted the sump and baffle. I used the 8v windage tray and a bit of loctite high performace sillicon, I smeared the sillicon smooth and used m6x20mm allen cap bolts.
I painted it hammerite silver. For some reason it looks as though it has run...
As you can see I've used the allen head bolts in most places. I'm hoping to be able to rebuild the engine one day using just an allen key set lmao
Water pump is on.
I then fitted the cam belt backplate and crank pulley. I got a new bolt and washer for the crank pulley.. best part of £30 gone there!
I'm now wanting to wash the coupe, it hasn't been done for like 5 months! Still looks shiny but it's filthy!

I could do what he has done and just have it looking built but unfortunetly I'm doing it for real not to pretend to my mates I have it done. We all know Brian is just dossing and the 'assembled' V6 is actually hollow and he has planted the heads on a block without pistons.*looks like bri may just beat you to 'engine built' status then huh

Yeah I painted it gloss black hammerite, it was a brand new can and had no gas left. Gotta take it back so I can do a second layer.

Thats really good work there, those shims the one's that sit over the top of the valve? I take it Z20let pumps are the way to go? Those wheels are light, any idea what money they are new as i bet there hard to pickup 2nd hand
