You asking how to cut carbon fibre sheet?
When I've do flat plan CF (1.5mm to 3.5mm) I've just used a jigsaw with the finest blade I have (ali spec one usually).
Mask with masking tape to stop scratches and so you can draw on it.
Works fine, but make sure you support edges etc so it doesn't split on the last of the cut.
You can then obviously sand down edges if you need to (or to make any 'mionr' adjuestment).

So, now that I have the zLET pump in my possesion I decided to have a quick look at the differences. I got the pump 2nd hand so also wanted to make sure all was ok. It is good as you'll see from the pics. I took it apart and gave it a clean and regrease.
The inside of the pump are majorly different, you can tell the metal is stronger due the thickness on the thinest part.

I then cleaned it all up and taped up the important parts, took out the PRV and all other bits and pieces, gave it all a clean. The oil cooler take off has a massive allen key bolt holding it on, reckon it's a 10mm.

As you can see the zLET pick up is alot different than the cXE one. The shape is the obvious thing, however the bore on the zLET one is twice the size of the cXE one. Should be fun modding something to fit.

I then moved on to the sump, gave it a good clean and also removed the oil level sender in prep for it to be baffled.

zLET oil pressure : 1.5Bar @800rpm
XE oil prssure : 1.5 BAR @900rpm
Not much difference however I belive at higher rpm the zLET pump copes well whereas the cXE one doesn't Also the gears and stronger on the zLET pump.
