| Re: Nova 1.0 build (Trackday car) lol, was a funny story. Can't imagine they ever got to court.
I start my heads with a burr in a drill. I shape the port with the drill and generally finish off with the die grinder as it makes light work of finishing off. I used to finish with a drill and that was just a pain in the butt, you need the speed of the die grinder to finish off properly.
I've done my exhausts and one of the chambers, so not much left for me to do before I get the seats recut, a quick skim, and rebuild. Woohoo! |

| Re: Nova 1.0 build (Trackday car) Salvaged top hose
Salvaged minimax
The state the was inside:
It then went like...
Drivers window before...
After... also clean CF door cards. (can still get window clearer but the cloth was well dirty.
Carbon fibre lushness restored... check!
The remains of wiring loom, bodies, faeces and god knows what else! There was quite alot!
Out with this heavy piece of melted and cained wiring loom.
Going to make a new one up. Will only have much needed wiring. Anything else can go run and jump!
Also greased the track rods before putting the ends on, all new steering rack, check!
Car sitting with no arches.
Next stage sand down and re paint. |
