Mine is Carmine red...
I am making the loom myself from scratch. Will mean that fault finding will be easier too Contemplating running the main loom through the wings BUT worried about salt etc and do I really need to!? |

what i was thinking, its the brands and specials that bump up the price, mettalics and pearls cost more than flat paint and the likes of house of kolor are just silly prices.
if i want something special i just start chucking different colours in a pot and experiment, the paint for my wheels is going to be a severe one off, in the sense ill never achieve the same colour again |

| Re: Nova 1.0 build (Trackday car) do it vxr red. a bloke in my street has just aquired a spanking new VXR8 in red and its so bright i pretty much need to put sun glasses on to look at it. that colour would look cool as **** on the nova. on the other hand tho, you should also have a random burnt square somewhere on it aswel to remind you of the fire rats lol

| Re: Nova 1.0 build (Trackday car) Prefer to forget the rats now TBH.
Its going red again, not into the grey tbh Other red I was looking at is Audi Rosso Red like the S3's... although I think most 'Rosso Red's' are about the same! |

| Re: Nova 1.0 build (Trackday car) So today wiring loom duties started, happy to say I done the front loom for things in the engine bay, not bothering hiding the wires as thats' bufty'. You can see the wires in the motorsport spec braiding...
Mostly white wires in this loom Notice the number 4 (we'll get to that in a mo) Also notice the heat shrink over the connectors to keep away moisture.
All joints, soldered and heat shrinked.
0=Earth on my loom, I have a nice Wiring diagram on an envelope
Fitting alloy rack mounts (I need a haircut )
While I did the wiring, Flatout ripped stickers off.
We both agree although the stickers looked great on track, I prefer the look without stickers!
Going to send this to Haynes to make me a 'Spanishfly' Nova work manual |
