SRi 140 .

Done a few bits since getting it like :

Powder coated rocker cover .
Polished plug cover .
Phase 3 chip set .
Adjustable FPR with gauge .
Intercooler .

Planned : Decent 2" 3/4 or 3" system .

Fitted intercooler today but still need work on drivers side intake , have to hunt a suitable hose down tomorrow and re-think it as rad is right in the way of pipes and so are power steering pipes . Will probably end up moving rad over and making up some brackets .

Still parts didn't arrive till lunch so not too bad , universal alloy pipe kit that needed a good hacksawing and alloy cooler , just need a bit more work on clearance and a shorter L bend .

Gotta look into this area a bit and find a suitable hose :

Only had a bit of time this weekend as lad was down .
Bumper fits perfect and all looks ok .

It's being pulled over to one side by the cable tie , when it's bracketed it will sit in center .

Nope not my engine from Cav .

Yeah I spose , didn't want to restrict air to rad and as you know the bumper fits quite snug at bottom .
Could re-think it and maybe mount it higher and use studding instead of brackets and put studding up to front panel .
It will look better as at moment it was a trial to see about bumper clearance .

Good going, we'll have another one soon!

Mine right in front of the rad and fills the gap and I don't get any heat issues. Spankee's is the same. I'd suggest dropping it a couple of inches it won't be a problem.

the rad should be ok. my intercooler sit's right in the bottom intake and i have an oil cooler behing the top grill. if anything you can bidge the fan so it's on when the car's on a run a cool running thermostat. i did have to cut along the bottom of my facelift gsi bumper though and don't use a lower grill have a look here to see where my cooler's fitted. might be on the third page
