BMW 525 1987 - TrampDrifting

With the GTE gone, it was time to try some RWD action. This came up cheap, and with 2months MOT and 4 months tax it should allow us time to get some practice in before the proper track season begins next year.

plenty of grunt, Bon Bon (won the last round at D1GB this year) started off in a silver E28 525 IIRC. Or was it a 528? I forget. But yeah, its enough grunt to get you started for sure. Hell Im running 115bhp. Ok its no great smoke machine in the dry, but it gets you there. 3.5 conversion would be something to keep in mind.

Have you seen MJGs black E28 Tramper? 3.5 engine in it......

i dunno. we have holes in the floor We'll see how bad it is on saturday when the stripping commences. Im more into RWD burnouts at the moment.

oh, the brakes aren't the best either. in that it has 4 'biting' points when you put your foot on the pedal, the latter being the bulkhead

2.5 will be plenty to start with mate.

Thats perfectly fine for 1st and 2nd gear drifts.

When you start wanting to do it at higher speeds is the time to swap.
