| Re: Lee's Garage lol, cheers mate, seriously though, white would really show up the 'not quite' concourse shape of the metal work i think
it would need to be really lairy, as i do like the current red a lot, and the only way to beat that would be for it to stand out like a fat girl at a catwalk show, we shall see... |

| Re: Lee's Garage Christ. You dont likr to mess about do you..
Good work on making the pannel, i'm guessing they just fill the arch over to sort it rather than replacing any metal. Sadly its done alot.
And how short are you rear springs...

| Re: Lee's Garage wel, no point hanging about benn, a bit of filler i can understand, but like i said, i told him at the time i would pay for any metalwork needed, but he didnt tell me the arch had a whack in it, and just re bodged on my behalf, which is why i'm annoyed to be having to do it now
as for the springs, they are long enough , 8 inch open length, its a track car, not a gravel car |

| Re: Lee's Garage i would have though personally that a rally car would want less filler, as it would have been liable to cracking and is, as mentioned, quite heavy!
and anyway, regardless of what the previous owner did, as i have said already, when the guy i got to paint the shell had it, i told him that if it needed a new arch or any other metal work, i would be happy to pay to have it done, so would have hoped he would have told me, but whatever, it matters not, nearly fixed now...
oh and sorry but i'm not a big fan of yellow, so its not going back to that
craig, you and me both! |

| Re: Lee's Garage P.S I just don't get it. It's like you have no fear with cars, I'd have been changing my pants every 5 minutes as I took a bit more filler out. |

| Re: Lee's Garage its the best way, i do have the advantage of having been through a very comprehensive apprenticeship with british airways in their ground fleet division, one of the last not to just be about component replacement and actually teach you how to repair stuff, but that just reinforces the spirit of have a go tbh |
