tough luck!
lmao....
Off topic - wheres the cheapest place to get some harness eye bolts?
Rob
would try rally design mate
didnt do much today, lack of energy and a want to watch liverpool get beat meant all i did was this bracketlmao at least the dash wont wobble now
![]()
Coming along nicely
cheers jonhows the 'scort?
tell you what though, i love doing little bits like that bracket now we have a press with some tooling, makes it all so easy![]()
Escort ? hmmmm lol still sitting in a garage waiting to be finished off.
Main problem is the guy I use works alone, he just about only works on teams cars etc so private work is always put aside.
Sadly for me but good for him is that everyone keeps smashing the race cars up, hopefully it will be finished and ready for paint sometime soon but I'm not holding my breath lol
I could really do with a workshop again as I am now quite capable of finishing off the shell myself, I'd let him do the arches and roofskin but I could manage the rest.
Your blessed with what looks like a good workshop with as you say some handy tools, makes the finished article look that bit better.
yeah, moving in with matt and brian was definitely a good move, its not easy finding a good workspace nowadays
be good to see you out in the 'scort next year![]()
I miss my old workshop, it was bloody HUGE, however that came at a price and there was no way I could keep hold of it.
Can't wait myself mate, done a trackday yesterday and loved every minute of it, will be nice to have my own car again though
sounds good to me![]()
finally, tilton pulled their finger out and my throttle linkage turned up![]()
and also in the box was the bias adjuster
and in a triple whammy, brake cylinders and resevoirs turned up from rally design
![]()
Nice stuff!
Are you still going to have std power drums tm on the back?
it's a C20XE not a fookin Redtop FFS
yup, no real point in doing discs for me![]()
Thats coming a long ace mate!! Had a word with my mate @ john wilcox racing and told him what im after un what you said about omega pistons!! So fingers crossed i might let them lose on the head before x-mas!! Were can i get 1 of them thread presses from!!
any decent tool supplier will do them , its called a riv-nut tool, dead handy!
good news about the pistons, they are well worth it
did a few minor things tonight, like fitting my throttle linkage
![]()
and resevoirs, gonna wait till the seats back in to choose where to put the
bias adjuster
but i would like oli's opinion on this, the resevoirs sit almost dead level with the calipers
is this gonna cause me problems? other than being a pain to bleed i mean??? :00000013:
also removed my loom, it looked like this
now it looks like this!
all in readiness to make the new loom
oooo love the pedal box...thats horny.
I'm louder than gods own revolver and twice as shiney.
Looks good lee. Buying a AIM dash when i arrive back in the UK from mark at mad i think.
Lee, remote fluid resevoirs. Make up some lines and mount them in the bulkhead where the
battery used to sit. That way they will be far easier to fill.
Back in the scene
Holy **** Lee that pedal box is sex wee worthy!![]()
awesome job mate, looks like its gonna be one serious machine.
