its at the birmingham nec, its a trade show for motorsport, if you go on the friday then you get the engineerig bit with 5 axis mills making cylinder heads etc etc, you get stands from all the top people, and usually get some good deals, i tend to just walk round all day going, oooh wow, look at that

mobile phone camera you see 0dders mate
anyways, todays events!!
so started by removing the stock seat support metal, amazing what you find!!
lost my leatherman a few months ago!!

i did intend to drill all the spot welds, but broke my spot weld drill after the front
seam, and there were soooo many i thought, feck it, and just cut the back seam out! gorund it flush afterwars though...
that done, time to remove the handbrake assembly

then cut the tunnel and reshaped it

added some metal

and then refitted the handbrake further back so it clears the gear lever

look, it clears now

made an ally plate to mount the lever and cover the old hole, all done!

also fitted my dahs to the surround, was a bit tight(had to cut a little bit!! )
rough fit

but a bit of work with a cartridge roll saw it fitting nicely, all bolted up
so i thought i'd power it to see what it looks like

fecking cool is the answer! start rubbing down and priming the inside tommorow

Yep this car has gained some serious bits of kit in the last couple weeks.

I thought it was quite a 'full on' car before, but its Hardcore now.

ha ha, that would rule! still have to program the dash to get it working how i want, hence the current 16k rev counter

As Jamie said, the problem is not that the dash shows too many revs, its that your engine doesn't rev high enough Sort it!!
