so, today mostly did little jobs to help the car not fall apart or kill me next week!
firstly remembered to replace the plastic shear pins in the corsa steering rack extension i'm using, anyone else who uses one of these may want to do the same,especially you EPAS boys and girls as the plastic ones break in use apparently!

i used 6mm pins but 4mm would be fine if you can find them

then fitted some split pins to the driveshafts

after that did a full bolt check, gonna paint mark the important ones tommorrow, and an oil change

then just hoovered the inside out and fitted the intercome headsets

anyways, mega mince session today, mr FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFf turned up to try to fit muttJ's old wheels, with no joy, so MrJ come get them soooooooon or they'll be on ebay no reserve!lmao

lol, well matt found the gearbox trying to come off the engine, an oil leak and two holes in the turret to chassis area, all fixed bar the leak now followed him out the garage and watched him get a fair bit of air under his left rear over the bump in the road that catches many people out, was hillariouslmao

me too, doubt i'd have marked the gearbox bell housing bolts thoughlmao had it happen to me before though so maybe i should, i only noticed when the clutch felt long, was pushing the gearbox and engine apart rather than actuating the clutch lmao

the bell housing bolts came out on the cav years ago, i had only 2 bolts holding it on, the rest had vibrated out, after that the were threadlocked in lmao.

ill stick up some of the pics i took today aswell at some point later.
