i always said 180 and i’d be happy, has a stock exhaust manifold and system and only making 6 psi, so not too bad really! as for future plans you’d have to ask willay, i think he has a corsa C to do first!

Well I'm sure you've spent less on it than I have on mine and it's running more power, so I certainly can't criticise lmao!

I'm sure the exhaust system would be very restrictive too if it's standard.

its not massively restrictive, but it is the limiting factor at the mo, i think 200 would be achievable, but a decent manifold and exhaust would be like adding 30 % more cost to the project! lmao and imagine will has gone from a 125 odd bhp astra with not much torque spread to what he has now, might take him a little while to get bored

rear beam is on my to do list also. many years back i saw some posts on clubgti, it was a mk1 golf which use semi trailing arm torsion beam same as us. it had 2 steel tubes with spherical bearings on each end going from the middle of the beam out to the tip of the hubs (i.e around where lower shock/coilover mount is) so you effectively triangulate the [-------] shape. that gives two benefits, it stops the geometry wandering when the beam is under lateral load, but you can also push or pull either side on purpose to add/delete some toe

excuse the crudity of this drawing, but to illustrate, the green bits are the tube stock, orange sections are mounts+speherical bearings

Which charger does he have fitted?
And is he running an inter or charge cooler?

and yes mate as spanish said, i used a mini supercharger(2nd gen) and a charge cooler donated off a mate which was originally for a G60 golf, and i used a focus header tank and mk3 astra heater matrix for a rad, seems to work well!
