What was the reason for replacing the cooler again?
cheers, yes it come together quite as planned really,
as for the cooler, just because you cant really effectively clean them out, so i don’t want to risk it on the new engine, i will clean it out and sell it though tbh, as it probably will be fine, wasn’t the worlds messiest engine blow up, paranoia really...

    Why the plate there too?
because the block gets in the way of the fittings, doesn’t look it in the pics but there is enough wrap etc protecting them so will be ok, ran like that before anyhow, and yes, as said the plate is to make the front ends cooling more efficient now i have plated the bottom of the car, worked well too, dropped five degrees off the water temp when hammering it

    Re: Lee's Garage

righty, freshly painted wings fitted up, and the bumper too, same as before with 1/4 turn fasteners, the wings are even nearly the right colour! lmao

wanted to have a quick drive but it was pissing down so thought best not, wheelspin isn’t good when running an engine in! oh and i don’t have a wiper fitted at the mo either, can’t remember where i put the damn thing!! will have to wait till after v now...
matts front end edges closer to completion too after another coat of filler primer, looking good!

Lol, I wouldn't be so sure about that. I can buy all the tacky wide arch kits and lexus lights I want, look for anything more performance orientated and you start hitting dead ends.

Yup, thats the plan. There's no reason (other than user error) why it shouldn't release ok... Watch this space.

    Some more pics:

And the view from the driving seat...

I'm really pleased with how its come out to Brian and Lee for all the help and putting up with 6 months of swearing and sanding...

Loads! it's approximately 2m wide, not sure what a std manta width is.

The photos make it look mustard yellow, it's much more banana yellow than that in the flesh!

    Re: Lee's Garage

Thats looking amazing! When are you breaking out the fibreglass and getting high on styrene fumes?
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming... "f*ck, what a trip!"
