ok, small update, took some photos




then took the tbs off

looks all good in here though…

to fix this little bastard of a grub screw,

that had somehow got a burr on it stopping it going fully tight! ffs, new screw, job done…so went out for a drive, misfire is gone, but **** its cold! couldn't get any temp into the engine easily, so put it away again, hope for warmer weather saturday!!

so, some ghetto engine pre heating...lmao


and i finally got it to warm up and run properly!! gave it a good tanking and the floor didn't fall off, rattle or anything! felt really good to get back behind the wheel, although it still has a small mis fire if you matt the throttle low down the revs, think i need to investigate my ignition system a little bit more, spark seems a bit weak, its still an animal though, which is nice

pmsl, no, not having my hair cut(had it done week before last!!) just not much to report tbh, went up last night but it was cold, and i STILL have a cold(week and a half and counting!!) so didn't have much motivation
i did manage to fit some rubber edging to the splitter though, which makes me think i should paint it black now, opinions?

next i need to investigate the small misfire, but need to fully warm it up to do that and last night it just wouldn't have happened, so thats a job for sunday...

Brian meanwhile has got his exhaust flanges

which look great, they only needed 5 mins with a die grinder to open the bottom of the port a little so the tube doesn't interfere with the head port, so i did that for him too, he has some bends and collectors now, so will be making his exhaust this weekend i think, he also got his water pump, and made a proper shonky style bracket from some odd spare steel

which doubles as a handy dry sump belt guard, loll


so there's your fix, will try and make it more interesting next time!!!

Not sure about the splitter really, I'm leaning toward saying black though so it would match the diffuser.

lol, i think he will make a new bracket, the cold froze the fabrication section of his brain!!, as for the flanges, brian had them laser cut to his drawings

still not sure on the splitter, will decide when i'm up there next, just think the struts may look odd if its black...
