Have you done any testing in a wind tunnel yet :-)
Why have you gone down in brake size?

cos i wanted a bit more room in thaw wheel and also i haven't ever managed to fade the 300s, even on back to back laps at the 'ring, and on a cold day can even struggle to get decent heat into them, its under 700kgs so juts doesn't need massive brakes

righty, as i said my bracket blanks turned up today, along with some pads and struts for the front splitter too
so, first job was to reduce their size somewhat and mill them where the caliper is going to sit to get it in the right place for the disc, like so…
they bolt here(the observant will note i bolted the wrong one on for this pic lmao)_
and the caliper goes here…
not fully bolted up yet as i'm led to believe some new bells will be coming to me from high spec, but if they're not here by the weekend they can just be sent back for a refund tbh…
struts will go here, meant fro a lamp pod but look pretty smart imo
meanwhile, brian is getting all excited and has nearly finished his engine!!
helped him bolt the inlet manifolds on before i left, total pain in the arse to get to the bolts but worth it!!
inlet charges' eye view
left him fitting tbs etc, should be all but done by the time i get there saturday, which is just awesome!!!
oh, stickered the focus too...

**** news on the bells, thats not good on Hi Spec at all.
I've possibly missed why your downsizing but what size were the originals ? I have some Hi Spec Monster calipers here to go on a Corsa which I have got to get some brackets made for and sort some discs and bells out, max 288mm as under 15's so if you want to sell your old ones let me know
Brians engine looks cool as funk in that yellow!!! looking forward to seeing that finished too!!
are there any shonkey stickers available to buy??
cheers
Rich Shonky opels is a niche market club, you can't just get a sticker and expect to be part of it. Plus it's not for sale. When you have done a ring trip with us, we may let you have a sticker. For now however you'll just have sit by the window gazing in with pure envy on your face!
