just went for the pista as tbh i have no interest in data logging and poring over the data to find a tenth or twolmao
great bit of kit though, only fiddly bit is wiring in thermo-couples, only because of the type of cable you have to use though, poxy stufflmao

    Re: Lee's Garage

so, even though its chuffin cold, thought i'd have a play with the rear geometry tonight
having found the other day that one rear wheel had zero camber and one 2.5 degrees neg, thought i would even that up with some shimming
so, made some shims, 1mm thick, trouser type so they would be retained better by the bolts

loosened all the stub axle retaining bolts and slid a shim along the bottom two bolts like so

you can just see the tag of the shim poking out, that one shim gave me 1 degree of camber, and i ended up with three to get to the 2.5 degrees i wanted

fairly simple and its the same method if your shimming for toe adjustments, mine toes in on both sides and i like the way the rear end is so wil leave the toe for now, but at least i have even rear camber now lmao

Pista has full data logging capabilities..

The annoying thing are the connectors, I think they are bespoke AIM jobbies...

Have either of you set it up yet? Rick yours should be easy if you are hooking it up to your Autronic via Can.

How are you doing the fuel level ?

    Re: Lee's Garage

cheers ricklmao and d'oh, yeah, strada is what i gotlmao
i got all my connectors from farnell through brians work, and its fully functional, my ecu isnt new enough to support the can, so had to loom it myself, fairly easy, you need to calibrate the fuel level sender with the dash, i.e have it out of the tank connected to the dash and cycle it through its full sweep, its all in the manual how to do it, but if you struggle, let me know

    Re: Lee's Garage

good old beam tolerances i guess, or it may have had a whack in the past, i just never got round to checking the rear geometry before now, as it seemed to handle fairly well as it was, be interesting to see if it feels any different, personally i doubt it will, but the extra camber may get some more heat into that tyre

ps, sorry i didint make the track day, but i struggled to get my focus up the garage lane let alone the nova with its new snow plough fittedlmao
doing brands on the 18th of next month i think though

    oh and azzmi, no worries
