righty ho then, big day today!
went to luton this am to collect my drivehshafts, and they were there and everything lmao! they even had the cv joint i left them , complete with retaining clip *phew*
and here they are, very nicely made, although for some reason they made one 20 mm shorter than i asked for, luckily i have some play on that side and i can get away with it and still have enough plunge in the cvs*double phew!*

as i say though, nicely made bits of kit

MattJ turned up too, so we could remove and refit his calipers again lmao, will eventually be able to fit his new stuff when we have the correct combination of spacers and bolts
so, time to fit the shafts! usual fare, lots of grease in the cvs and boots on both ends

the one fitted pic i have, this side the side that was a tocuh short, so spaced the cv off the hub slightly to compensate

and then, nervously, it was off for a drive! went to get some petrol and it seemed fine, and surprisingly easy to get a handle on the gearchange etc
so, that done, time for a decent run or two, even found time to sort of race a bike lmao

as you can see, it goes quite well, and the gearchange is wicked, nice and positive and no real dramas about matching revs either, had some fun through the services too, the diff is great, and is a lot more 'active' than the quaife was, should be brilliant round the track, the lock isnt even too bad, althogh it will improve with the new wheels..

then found some time to show the nova some love, i washed it!

there will probably be a spurious photo or two of me 'detailing' the wheels, thanks to willay and j r who turned up with my pals foglights for his audi(cheers chap!) and for a good chinwag but suffice to say, the two bucket method was ignored, but it does look better clean!

so anyways, its all good in the hood, will take i for a proper blat when i get a chance, and a trackday as soon as i get my 15s on
