Just been looking at page 11 lee of the pics of you fitting the quaife stick. Can i ask why you have now changed the stick so it runs across the car?

his stick goes direct to the gear box rod. he has no linkage.

Just seen it has UJ's in place still.

nah it works the correct way round if its direct to the turret, it does the oppoisite if you retain the stock lnkage,
as for why it goes across the car rick, i couldnt get it woking correctly going in the normal orientation, as the angle on the heli joints proved problomatic, hockley now advises peopel to do it this way too apparently

so, time to fill the space we cleared the other day
thanks to brians eagle eyes, we are now the proud owners of a van norman 12 milling machine!
we got it for a song, and all that was left was to collect it from preston, so we hired a flat bed, and made our way there
got there to see the machine waiting for us in the guys driveway,

and his handy fork lift for loading!
he was a really nice guy, who had been a time served engineer for british aerospace, and this was his home mill that he'd had for a while,
so after a chat about many things, we loaded her up

then drove back to the farm, where the farmer handily has a jcb forklift too!

and shes in!

we got a few tools and collets with it too, which is handy!

it has a power feed bed, and a didgi readput too, cant wait to start milling stuff!

but first we must sort out the inverter to run it on single phase, which wont be a problem thans to brians electrickery skills
