Thermo resistor by the looks of it, typically the manual doesn't tell you much except to contact Stack LTD for all senders lol

Cheers for the heads up with Merlin, I'll get some senders ordered for the YB asap

Oh and I think I may already have a 0-10 bar pressure sensor so I'll try that before I rob yours lol
Welding and fabrication, custom roll cages, cnc parts + lots more PM me

thermo resistors are a bitch, because ll you need do is add a resistor to change its working range, shame stack are so secretive, aim give you all the info and sensor specs in the book

    Re: Lee's Garage

well, spoke to bowyer today, having rung many times from my phone, i used a site office phone and whadda you know, someone answered was then told he wasnt there, so in the middle of explaining how annoyed i am, i hear him speaking to someone in the background!! FFS PUT HIM ON, NOW! so he comes to the phone and bleats about being busy etc, which quite frankly i couldnt care less about as my order has been with him for so long it should now be his priority
he said the valve spring caps are going out today, but he didnt know his mum told me the manufacturer has them and is sneding them, so i pulled him up on that too, last thing he said was i am going to sort out your shims for the valves now and will phone you back in an hour and a half, so, three hours later i actually get a call, shims are ordered today valve spring tops will be sent out tommorow, he is chasing the headgasket but will give me no guarentees
which, tbh, sounds exactly the same as i got of him three weeks ago, will this ever end? worst thing about it is he seems to find this all amusing*lost for words*

So he was just ignoring calls from your number then... Nice

It certainly doesn't sound like he knows how to run a business tbh

yup, and when i was on the phone to his mum, its obvious he has told her just to tell me he's not there, it was only because i heard him speaking to someone in the background that i actually got to speak to him!

    Re: Lee's Garage

Hi, I have been following this build since the start. Even I am getting annoyed with no parts arriving lol!!

Is Bowyer the only person that can get your parts? just seems he is famous for messing people around so why not tell him to F off!

Hope everything gets sorted soon, we want progress :-)

top build by the way, its a very interesting read.

Ah I see, thought that was probably the case. You don't seem the type to mess around if you don't have too.

Good luck anyway mate! can't wait to see the results when shes running

thing is, a shakedown trackday would really be a handy thing before jumping in the car and heading for germany, with a brand new near development spec engine, so it needs to be a fair bit before june tbh! i havent even driven the nova for near on a year, so i need a shakedown as much as the car will...

Combe spring action day on the 19th looked like a good deadline a few months back.
But it looks way too close to make that now.

yup, zero chance of coombe now, the car may be there, but it wont be mapped or run in so wont be on the track, although with my coombe record(2 dead engines and one binned car) maybe thats no bad thing

Lee whilst i totally understand your frustration it is a well known fact that Mr Bowyer is very difficult to get hold of and generally difficult to deal with but nobody would argue with the results it will be worth it in the end.

Lee have you tried John reed race engines or Bill Faulkner? both vauxhall gurus.

Bowyer rang me last Thursday and told me after 10 months i can pick my engine up this Sat - one problem.......im getting married!!!!!!!!!!

As Kev says though, you cant argue about Martin's results

    cheers Rob
