ok ive finally found some time to post up some pics of a few of my new parts (of which most are already fitted...lol)

short shifter is approx £80 i think............ turbo recon cost me just over £500 but i had to have quite a bit done to it!

well today has been very hectic, started on it at bout 9 and finished bout 5.30 but has been a very productive day tho!!

oil cooler is now finally finished totally, had to make up a couple more mounts to finish that off........

rear suspension is now finished too (coilovers on)

engine wiring loom is all fitted now and completely wired up, ecu is fitted in the original corsa position which is a bloody squeeze buty its all there and good!!

short shifter kit is fitted, had to cut and weld part of it, and also had to modify my rear mount and another part of the linkage to get clearance, finally got all the gears tho after alot of pissin about!! need to order a new bush tho for the main gear stick as its worn and is a tiny bit sloppy......and i dont want any of that!!!

finally, started to tidy up some of the engine wiring out of the way so it looks tidy as......but then got board!

once the turbo hoses are here im gunna fire it up!!! cant wait (thats if it starts...lol)

main rad isnt in yet!! im sorting out my hoses and then me and my mate are having custom alloys rads made! also turbo has to go on this week once the turbo coolant hoses (roose in blue silicone) get here so there wouldnt be any point in fitting it if i did have it, ive had a corsa diesel rad in there tho whils measuring and fitting all the other stuff!!

Hey Steve, what chips will you be running? Not sure if i should keep the std injectors for phase 2 or go to the saab reds, would they be overkill? Also I want a new FPR, where'd you source yours?

keith got my fpr from lmf (they get them from m-tec), its a 3.5 bar reg and fits straight onto the original fuel rail which is wot i wanted! as for chips either going to run regal phase 2 or im going to enquire about m-tecs own chips, see wot power ratings, price etc they do. Im using saab reds, but my mate just brought a set of vxr injectors and they fitted in a treat but not sure if they are going to over fuel abit for just under 300bhp?? lmf can source a lot of different sizr fpr but i think 3.5 is ample and its the one they recommend if you go on there site for around 300bhp

did a few bits today, just really cleaned up some stuff and put some hoses in place so i can see where i can hide various wires.............btw the large silicone hose isnt final its a temp measure, i will be getting hard pipes made! but to get it running it will do for now.......

So its the standard FK rear setup, normal shock and then a spring with a height adjustable coller on the beam?

Turbo was a complete shock, i kept thinking to myself, i hope they clean it! But it came back looking awesome. Need to make sure the LET gets as clean now!

right quite a big update really i suppose, put the turbo on tonight along with a few other bits and bobs, such as inlet hose, plumbed in the recirc valve, and other bits and bobs, this meant that its time to see if it fires, so crank it over for a bit to get oil pressure, and plug in the coil...............will she start tho, that was the question.....lol

of course it did, the corsa is alive!!!! wohooooooooooo only started it very briefly, it has no exhaust on it wot so ever so sounds like a tractor but i just wanted the reasurance that it would start up, im chuffed to bits now, intercooler should be on tomorrow, and ordering coolant hoses asap now too!!!

Its a good feeling aint it when you fire it up for the first time! Took my corsa for its first spin today, went well just the usual problems to iron out before its 100% finished.

yeah deffo is mate!! sounded funny tho due to no exhaust or intercooler etc, but its just the reasuurance that it will fire up you want aint it, all the time, effort and money all seems worth it now!!!!!
