I spy a Muuuuuuultii V...... Good work fella, engine bay looks imaculate....

i also spy a multi vee, and my chassis mods seemed to have worked, it has approx 10mm of clearance...........so hopefully the engine wont move that much on its munts, but im sure it will be more front to back movement!! we'll see but im happy with it for now anyway, if it touches the chassis leg then so be it!!!!!!!!!

Well i wont be modifying my chassis, but if it comes to it ill make some special pulleys to solve the problem.

if you dont alter the chassis then it will deffo rub!! there is no way you can move the alternator over as the belt wont run true on the crank pulley then!! unless your going to make new pulleys for both the crank and alternator, but then your going to be up against trying to find a belt to run on it?? id alter the chassis its easier!!

got some saab red injectors turn up today! just waiting for my fuel pressure reg now!! (3.5 bar) also got all the fuel lines plumbed in but they are very close to the steering rack boots.....so need to look into that and see wot i can do! thinking i need to try and find some thinner boots!!

what belt did you use, going to be wacking a xe in the corsa soon, and cant be bother changing pully's and the belt with engine is too long due to pas setup on it

speak to "paddy" on here he will supply you the modified mount and belt................i did modify my own bracket but werent happy with it, his mount is spot on tho!!

modified mount for the alternator adjuster, i cut my original mount out as far as i could go and the adjustment just wasnt enough!! it needed a bit fabricating and welding on the end.........BUT paddy makes a mount that fits straight on with more adjustment!! and supplies a belt with it too!

small updates.........have cahnged the steering rack boots for non genuine ones and now have clearance! which is all good, rechecked the fuel lines for leaks by buzzin the fuel pump up, all seems ok........ also my mocal oil cooler has turned up and my turbo is now being rebult with uprated internals. will be plumbin in my oil cooler at the weekend all being well!!

cheers lads, all being well the turbo should be back by next weekend and bolted on!! have ordered all new pipes and copper sealing washers etc for the tubo and oil cooler connections............also ordered few other bits and bobs too! cant wait!!!!!!

bit of progress today, decided to fit up my front mount oil cooler.........had to get a universal fit mocal kit in the end (13 row) but ive managed to mount it spot on and all the connections are all good now, although i ordered about 1meter too much oil hose, will get pics for you asap, it was gettin dark tho when i finished! its a very tight squeeze wot with the rad, oil cooler, intercooler and pipes!!

didnt bother trying mate, the thing with the calibra turbo one is that it has metal pipes so your limited as to where you can mount it without bending the pipes...........my mocal cooler came in at only £115 delivered to my door and its very slightly bigger than the old cooler too, the best thing is that it looks really cool where ive mounted it (imo) and should be much more efficiant!! ill get pics asao so you can see wot you think!

Spent about an hour going through my whole loom today checking all the wires for continuety, i also took the loom to bits and pulled the 12v ignition feed (black wire) through to the inside of the grommet so i dont need any wires going through the grommet and making it look messy!! also fitted up most of the loom to the car but couldnt fit too much as im still waiting for my fpr, once that is fitted then it can all go on properly!

lots of parts ordered or arrived today........

short shifter kit is here
3.5 bar fuel press reg is here
turbo is back tomorrow
lots of parts from vauxhall are here (inc turbo return pies, clips, bumper bar ready to be cut for intercooler mount etc)
coolant turbo pipes (blue silicon....cheers to rally man)

so tonight got the saab reds and fuel press reg in, alos put the loom in and connected all the engine bay side up...........was hoping to get the turbo coolant pipes for sat so i could put the turbo on but might have to wait now........or put it on then take it off.....should be able to fire it up if i do!!

not for the power im running! (phase 2)........... saab reds and 3.5 bar reg is good for 300bhp. thats wot ive found whilst doin my research. check max-boost website, its all on there.
