I was planning to fit a Diesel rad too, but apparantly the connections are different. I guess it would be simple to get around though

I would imagine, my C20LET was running a standard F20 box without problems.

I have driven a car with a paddle clutch before and it's horrible, would be a complete nightmare in a road car I would think.

you also have to consider the car youve got the engine in is allot lighter and not 4wd, i would have thought good replacemet flywheel would be fine..

i live 5 mins from santa pod so you no where im gunna spend alot of my time!!..............i spoke with helix and they advised that after a few good launches the efficiency of an organic clutch is reduced quite a bit so as im going to be givin it alot of stick i went for the paddle clutch as they advised! my mate has one in his and he has no problems! it was expensive but at the same time i dont want to be removing the engine every few months doin clutches do i!!

right a few updates, the first good news is that my m-tec conversion kit is now ready to be picked up!! so that means the engine going in is well within sight!!

did a bit of work over the weekend to the engine, fitted up the new flywheel and clutch and finally removed the block from the engine stand, also made up a new tidier loom to run the alternator, starter motor and oil light!

    trial fitting of the flywheel

fitting the flywheel and new bolts with a tad of locktight

    modified clutch alignment tool, C20LET/F28

    clutch aligned

    clutch fitted up

and finally engine off the stand!! lookin rather nice too

enjoy, more pics to come very soon!

its easy mate i dropped my mates c20let out of his on sunday using only jacks!! just remove anti-roll bar and tie rods and put in from underneath. luckily ill be takin mine to my work and using the ramp i rekon it will take longer to set the engine hoist up than to put in the 6 mount bolts!! lol
