Project Over!!! Corsa now sold.................

unfortunately cicumstances change, and i just cant warrant having the corsa sitting there anymore, but its going to a good home and its going to be seen on the strip and round the track alot more again!!

i think next car will be VAG for the simple fact i work for vw so kinda makes sense............ i think it will have to be 20vt, but weather that means in a golf mk2/4.....polo who knows. this time i will be keeping the essentials such as the radio, power steering and rear seats........i also want to be able to use the car to nip out in and not worry about leaving it anywhere, ill keep you all posted tho!

hi, sorry for the bump but i was wondering if theres is away of seeing the pictures from this project thread, i have followed it from day 1. it now says on all the photos that they have been deleted/moved on photobucket. i know the car has been sold on and the new owner has a project thread but i'm particularly interested in the intercooler mounting/pipe routing.

hi, cheers for the reply. can i just get the link to the corsa album on photobucket then i can look through them or if not its the intercooler set up! Is there a reason you went for the "100 series - type 04" instead of type 06 or 08?

yer would take ages shame there broken now tho is a good thread!

hi mate ill sort out the pics, basically i went for the 100 series as its a decent size (pretty wide, even tho it dont look it) and fits along the front of the corsa a treat without mullering the front and keeps it looking like a road car rather than a dragster (grille missing, bumper cut totally out). the type 04 has outlets on the side rather than facing backwards which makes it easier with the rad etc, and the type 04 i think is about 60mm diameter which is ideal i think!

I have new tappets and they are filled with oil do i need to empty them or leave them like they are since i am going to fit them in an other c20xe engine ?

As long as it's clean oil, leave them. as they'll drain out anyway.

SO if the tappet have extra oil in it, it will remove it by itself?
