    Cheers folks

Big thanks to VLXGSI for sorting me out with a Billet Flywheel and a Nice Alloy bottom pully. Both are incredable, really well machined! Ordered these sunday night and they came this morning.

Pics: - Sorry about quality, camera phone!

    Lightened Billet Flywheel

    Alloy bottom pully (single V)

    Until the next update!

Well folks, been absolutely flat out all day working on the car. With the help of my dad we've managed to get the shell stripped enough for the front end seam welding to begin. The dash, complete car loom, carpets, seats, handbrake mechanism, gear selector etc etc is all removed. Cars so light now me and dad can lift the front or rear!! lol

Dash, pedals and brake mechanism removed:

    Rear end all stripped:

    No seats/carpets:

    Engine bay cleaned before welding:

    Handbrake gone:

    Gear selector gone:

Trial fitted the wings and grill, thank god everything lines up mint!

    Mint roof cloth:

    Mint rear pockets:

    Lmao@ 1.2

Thanks folks, no update now until after easter when the engine bay will be freshly stitch welded, Chris Astley strengthning plates etc all fitted.

It shocked me stripping it to be honest, the only rust i can find is a few tiny bubbles along the underside of the front panel, where the basic spec plast strip covers usually.

It should come out brilliant once dipped and Ade paints it!

As said mate that is a blinder of a shell! I'd really love to start another project on a completely untouched, mint shell.

You have your blank canvass Keith - now paint!!

I think i'm going to keep the old skool bootlid now too, smooth the wiper/washer/lock as per some suggestions on NL. Think it should work well!

I think it would be rude not too.

Its a real shame you live so far away. I could've popped round and stole the shell lmao

With the Nova away for stitch welding, i've cleaned the garage, and purchased a garden shed to get some of the crap away into.

PS. Borrowed the trailer. Must get one made!!

Car should be back late this week
