Its cost me £1510 and we were going to england to bring my gran back for a holiday anyway, so didnt cost to get it home.

The Money i'm making selling my shell, and someone will pay good money for what is essentially an SR engine with 8k on it. Should take the sting away from the new car.

Jeez Keith. Where d'ya find all these minters?

Hope you did the right thing, that other one NDZ was a minter & legendary in some peoples eyes. Nothing like starting out with a clean base though. Good luck.

NDZ shell is sold to a local fella who is reshelling his group A hillclimb car. I'm glad thats where its going because i wont see it on the road again, and it will still be kept in good nick as its unlikely it will get smashed.

This wasnt planned, i just seen the minter on ebay and thought this makes much more sence, concidering i want the car to last.

Well guys - NDZ 1331 is officially dead in my eyes. Its sold to the Lynch brothers (local hillclimbers) and is being used to reshell there rallycar. Really happy about this as i wont see it on the road again, and it will hopefully bring them loads of success.

    Goodbye Chap -

    Will keep you all updated

    End of an era!

Good luck with the new project, cant see anyone giving good money for the 1400 engine imo, depends what you call good tho, unless you find someone thats making a mint original 1.4SR and needs a mint standard engine.

Indeed it is stupidly clean. however I'm changing the colour, to something simple and classy tho, nothing too outragous. Should be doing the floor, inner arches same as the rest too!

Hasnt been much progress with the car, i'm still saving loads as everything from now on is expensive (respray, seam welding, custom intercooler etc etc) it all adds up to some serious dosh which is going to take many many months to save.

ohh well, good to hear that you, like myself is doing it properly. End result will be worth it!

When do you plan to have it on the road? Hoping to have mine done by easter 2007, then i can get it along to a few shows, and meet some of the other keen nova owners

OMG how clean is that 1.4's engine bay?!
My old Nova was nordic blue, nice flat colour for a sleeper

Good luck with the saving; get it in a high interest account.. Money makes money!

Hopeing summer 2008. It will probably only be getting painted by easter 2007. But once the bulk of the works done, i want to spend time on the little details!
