They dont want them back. And I wouldnt want to take them back, as i'd probably end up hitting them over the head with each door and ending up in a german prison.

Well if keith has only paid for 2 then I know where the other 6 will be going, on ebay to cover the costs of the trip to germany!!

The other 6 will be sold off, I think adrian has found a home for 4/5 of them so far. I might still have a pair of decent ones, not sure until i get a better chat to him.

Those doors are in my garage, I dont want to paint up any second hand doors for fear of them rusting through in a few years. I'd prefer to use new ones so that they hopefully last as long as the shell does.

why did you not just get them dipped and e coated then they would have had the same chance as the shell of surviving

The car's original doors were e-coated and got damaged, hence me buying new ones. The old doors from my old car are in my garage and i dont want to use those.

It all sounds very complicated i have to admit. And its unbelieveable that 6 doors can all come, after numerious conversations with germany on how bomb proof the packaging should be.

Can't beleive the state of the doors that you have been sent, shame there is no where else to get them from as I wouldn't want to give them my business after all the messing around.

Have you thought that they may be in bad shape before they are sent out though ? What if you get to Germany and there equally as manged when you pick them up

A fella Steve on Novaload has been round to collect doors recently and they have all been fine. Also a friend got sent doors and they arrived in the post fine. I've no idea why 6 of mine arrived wrecked.

I'll be contacting them in the morning, and contacting steve to see if he could check them out too.

Well folks, i'm off to england in the morning, and germany on sunday morning. Meeting up with Steve from Luxemburg and going to opel to collect my doors. Returning to england on the tuesday night and then dropping the doors with adrian at the bodyshop on the wednesday morning.

Hopefully luck will be on my side now and everything will run smoothly. Should have loads of pics of the shell on my return before it gets its nice paintjob.
