Stripping the Nova shell as much as possible now before it gets dipped. I've been told to take everything off possible. However i dont have to bother taking any sound deadning or underseal off Woohoo!!

Took the roof cloth out, was careful not to damage it, glad thats done!! Will give it a good clean before i refit it.

Not much else will happen now until June - Just gotta keep saving!!

your attention to detail is fantastic. Getting the shell dipped is a testament of that.
Looking foward to the progress pics now.

Exactly, they are unbelieveable. I've seen so many get painted, only to have rust come through the next year, rust that wasnt even there before the paint job!

In hindsight I wish I had done that to my MK3 shell, although tbh it may happen yet. Definately the best way of preventing the demon rust.
Couldn't think of anything good to put in here.

Its alot of cash to be spending. I was quoted £1475 + vat back 6 months ago, and it will probably be a tad more expensive now as its getting popular. But for the peace of mind that it gives, it makes spending the cash worth it!

From the moment i stripped this car i knew thats what i wanted to do with it.

What goes on after the acid? I assume the bare surfaces will need coating (priming) ASAP?
