no its not running! i havnt got around to getting another hall sensor yet! we definatly had an rpm signal at marks by wiring a crank sensor into the hall sensor plug and tapping it on the cam shaft! so it does realy point to a duff hall sensor! will have to get a new one or try a know working one!
simps ill be coming down in the scort!

its cos it's a white car, it fools the camera's metering system as it thinks its damn bright, so blacks come out far too black !!!

thanks mate! i have patience upto a point! if this chip change does not lead to the ecu detecting the trigger disk, i realy do not know what to do next! its a long way for me to go to get help with autronic fecking car! it will work one day

Its a long way for youlmao Its an even longer way for me I'm going with sm4 perosnally,i hope its fires so i can atleast check for leaks n stuff before karting it off to Mark.

Do you know if the sm2 runs the same ecu plug/wiring as the smc? If it does and your wont fire on the new chip i have an smc ecu which will definalty take the std crank trigger and hall sensor that i could sell you extremely cheap Downside is that is doesnt have the traction/launch features of the sm2

    Fingers crossed it'll fire

lmao its also the hassle of hiring a trailer etc to get it down there!
thanks for the offer mate, but the reason i went after market is for the traction control as i was hoping to lay down some 12's on the 1/4. unsure if the plugs tie up? if i realy have no joy im screwed may have to buy sm4lmao

Awesome Dan! Really looks the part now that you've removed said offending item and got the bumper/grille lined up properly

Good luck with the ecu swap!
