can this happen, my old man has a storyu of a mate of his removing an alarm that forever was going wrong and afterwards his car was faster due to the dodgy wiring of the alarm/immob,

i removed my autowatch immobiliser the other day and havent driven the car till today, but one of the immobilisation curcuits was on the fuel pump live, now it might be me but i thought the car felt quicker and then dads story popped into my head,

could the immob be dropping the power to the feul pump and causing a lack in power?

i remember RDS running a new live to his fuel pump as it was loosing voltage thru the cable? could the immob have caused this typeo f effect?

That was my first thought - voltage drop to the pump - you cant regulate whats not there ;)

Easy way to test is to temporarily bridge the connection and see what happens.
