I've fitted front discs to my car and now want to do the rears, i have access to a pair of cav gsi rear calipers but im not sure if they will fit because of it being IRS on the cav. Any gen? Will they fit easily enough?
Nope, rear stub axels are different. Not because of IRS, but because the floor pans were all originally designed to take 4x4. So the provision for it is there in the stub axels and IRS.
You'll need SRi, SRi 16v, V6 (if you're going to do a 5 stud conversion), all 2.0 models.
Strangly enough, Vectra rear hub assembles will fit yours. But I think all rear disked Vectra's were 5 stud.
Or you could get MK3 Astra GSi, Astra Sport 1.8+, Astra SRi, CDX 1.8+ rear hub assemblies.
