I have read a little about setting up the carbs roughly ready for the drive to the rolling road, doesnt seem too difficult.
What would be the time/price of a rolling road setup roughly?
Also is it true you have to adjust them every 6 months or whatever?
why is this? is it idle/mixture screws coming lose? - if so couldnt you just mark the positions of the screws after the rolling road setup?
Also on twin carbs like webber 45s, is there any kind of choke or auto choke, or is it a case of warming them up on the drive before leaving
someone on here is selling some quite cheap.
I am having second thoughts about spending £3000 on tuning, so the carbs would be a good compromise if I can get some gen on them first.

stripping is one thing I dont want to do, but it definately helps a lot.
