Hi ya, I'm not sure if any of you can help me but i have a corsa 1.2sz that was 3rd party write off and no keys! The problem i have is the immobilser keeps cutting in as we dont have the key to disable transponder. Is it possible to remove the immobiliser?? rather than go to vauxhall and get it rechipped. please help as i already have 3 different ecus that won't run it!!!
If car is legit then then u should be able to get a new chip key from vaux for about a tenner, but if ecu is locked out it will need to be plugged in to teck 2 to reset it.
Bypassing immobilizer is a no go im afraid, other alternative is to buy a matching ecu, transponder and key.

Yeah car is legit, so vauxhall wont b a problem. will i need to take the car to vauxhall bcos the nearest to me is around 65 miles away!! i am currently sourcing a matching transponder, key and lock kit but the vauxhall specialist we have been using said we need the same as original and they cant find 1. apreciate if you can sadvise, Thanks
If u can get the right key posted to u from vauxhall try it. If the ecu light is flashing consatantly at i sec intervals then it will definately need to be towed and plugged in to teck 2. This shouldnt take more than 10 mins to do so try to arrange a price first, have heard reports that it could be up to 50 quid though.
If u r cheeky then u could get lucky and get it booked in on a saturday morning slot and pay mechs in stella like we did.

Cheers, thats pretty much what i wanted to know. The ecu light is flashing so its gotta b taken in, oh and 50 quid aint bad considering what i've been paying vauxhall "specialist" that could'nt suggest anything. Thanks very much
Tell the "specialist" hes a muppet and get some cash back. If u have a key that fits the ignition I could even get the ecu u have matched to a transponder (even if u didnt have one!) and a transponder key supplied, the only drawback being the 175 quid that it costs. Didnt mention it before as i thought u would want the cheapest alternative!

can supply deimmobilisered ecus....... or just get a pre 97 1.2sz ecu which dones't have imob
ive got a 96 c12sz corsa and it does have immobiliser - mines a premier model if thats any help (euro 96 logos on the side)
I think only the shitty merit models didnt come with immobiliser - or glovebox for that matter! lmao
