Either your springs are "coiling up" b'coz the bushes are seized, or ive heard something about if its calibrated incorrectly it can cause this. Theres a few threads out there on calibrating it on google, might be worth a look pal

Do you use front anti roll bar? What bushes are you using? Had tracking done?

Don't forget, whilst you are concentrating at the front steering, cars can veer from side to side due to any play in rear suspension joints etc as well, make sure all subframes, top mounts, and any moving arms and piviots, bushes and other mountings are sound, no cracks on any chassis membranes. Steering rack itself is solidly bolted without any movement or cracks on the surrounding areas and other bulk head areas, this is just general theory not specific to any particular car. And make sure all wheel bearings are good and no play either, everything should be investegated when you have a problem that doesn't appear to have an obvious cause.

May be sticking top mount bearings - depending where they stick, it may result in a bias one way or the other, as the steering is operated.
