Mk3 Astra is a beam so nowhere to put the trailing arms
Unless you mean using the complete rear subframe off a Cav with trailing arms as well

all cav gsi n calibra had IRS

Yeah so it will 'bolt on' once you weld in a calibra or cav rear end lol
and alot of chopping about etc as the petrol tank on a IRS cav/cally is right behind rear bumper

fair one, best bet would be to check out some of the 4x4 mk3 project threads
Any links? the 2wd had beams except 4x4's and GSi's, can't imagine they altered the chassis that much to make it 4wd except move the tank for the prop and exhaust

best one i can think off is RC build
yes its rwd but RC is using a IRS setup
