Digi dash rev counter help

Hello i fitted a digi dash to my corsa b 1.7td today, i've got it all working as it should apart from the rev counter its' way out its reading 6k at idle (900rpm)

Is this a problem with the wiring somehow or just the fact the dash wont work with a diesel?

Will work but you need a frequency adjuster. Well.covered on here think pic bits sell them?

What do you mean by the diesel program?
Do you also stock the bulbs as i have a few missing

I've got two settings on them - one has a wider frequency range for diesel engines as they have a much higher frequency output than the petrol variants - if you specify the diesel program, when I test the units I can set it to the other range so you don't have to mess about.

I don't do the bulbs any more - too many idiots trying to pull a fast one so gave up selling them.

Ok how would i find out the diesel program?

You order and stick a note on at the end (or drop me an email) that you'd like the diesel program lol. When I program your unit after building it, I put a slightly different bit of software on that copes better with the alternator signal from a diesel.

If you go to Youtube and stick in picbits in the search you'll get some results with the diesel engines on the digidash.

Can you point me in the right direction for the bulbs please Dom, i need both the big ones (main 3) and the small ones that light up each symbol

Dont think you can get the main bulbs anymore

GTE Mk2 Digidash? You only need two, the 3rd hole is slightly smaller so won't take a big bulb. I got replacements about 18 months ago from Vaux. Weren't cheap mind.. About £6 each, cause they are Halogen rather than standard bulbs. One dealer told me he could only order them in 10's so I'd have to buy the lot, another (same chain) just got me a pair, no problems.

The symbol ones are just standard auto bulbs IIRC, should be able to get them from a car spares place.

Yup - Vaux do them and there is another place or two online who is now doing them for a few quid each - the bulb number is 433T - its a 5W 12v halogen.

Order received by the way - will get your unit out as soon as I've built up a few more units.

I normally quote a 14 working day turnaround on these as they are built from scratch but I've got some boards etched up and drilled so that saves a couple of days. Probably towards the beginning of next week but you'll get a notification email as soon as its in the post.
