Vauxhall corsa non starter

Hi I've got a 1.6 corsa sport and it won't start just cranks over and over, it's spark and plenty of air fuel, all plugs and ht leads are fine, put the code reader on it and it came up with can sensor incorrect signal, so I changed the sensor and problem still occurs, wondering if it could be the wiring in the engine loom to the sensor plug? Anyone had this problem or come across it before?

Check wiring and all earths. Sports tend to have 2 or 3 earths either side of the engine.

Ive checked them mate there all fine it has been running and then not running and then not running again for about the past month, I had it running wednesday my mate cranked it over and I wiggled the wires from the engine loom plug to cam sensor etc and it fired, ran on 2 cylinders and then revved it and was running on all four, went to start it Thursday and just kept cranking again, possible break or shorting in the wiring?

Indeed. Strip the wiring back and take a look

I meant using a multi meter and check the wires at both ends to check for breaks etc... should of been clearer

Alrite mate checked everything today, 1 earth was broke I repaired it and still wouldn't fire, nothing comes up on the code reader, pretty confused
