Astra MK3 1.4 single point with Error codes 21 and 35 but no problems

Recently had an issue with high idle speed and stalling which was rectified by replacing the TPS.

However since then although the car has been running fine the EML will come on now and again.

    Paperclip test reveals:
21 Throttle Potentiometer Sensor (High voltage)
35 Idle stepper motor (Poor or no idle speed control)

but not having any idle issues. Don't really want to mess about with it any more as the car is working but makes me think I may have another problem soon, any ideas what could be at fault? loose wire or something?

If its running great leave it.

Have you attemped to remove the stored fault codes? Some people say leaving the battery off overnight will do it, but I just use my Snap on scanner to remove the codes.

If the light is on then at that point there is a problem to the ECU and erasing codes isn't gonna solve anything. I've been driving around like that with exactly the same engine and same codes an finally the ECU gave up on me. Doesn't have to lead to the same disaster here, but might be a good thing to keep in mind when it starts to rung terribly rich and doesn't want to start sometime after a while...

Maybe worth it to give the ICV a good clean and lube it up with some good teflon spray after...
When advanced technology fails you need advanced personell using advanced tools and equipment to find advanced solutions... Somehow in either of these matters it keeps going wrong??!?
