Cv joint/ wheel bearing! C20XE Corsa

Hey guys quick one for you!
Garage has fitted a cv gaitor to my nearside cv joint (they might have changed te cv joint aswell i need to check the paperwork)

When setting off now i'm hearing like a creaking noise just as i set off and then it stops straight away, its coming from the nearside front corner i think.

Any ideas what it may be?
Wheel bearing was loose as well so they've tightened that back up?

On a front wheel bearing it is jot adjustable so they wouldnt have been able to tighten it
sounds like more of a brake binding issue

Its got Cavalier discs n calipers on so i'll price them up.

I would identify the issue first to be sure rather than pricing up parts you may not need.

I agree but brakes havent been changed for a year so probs worthwhile anyway

I would just jack the front up take the wheel off and have a look/wiggle rotate etc should be obvious
