    Brake pedal quite soft

My brake pedal on my corsa has a lot of travel before it actually does anything, once it reaches a point the brakes are good but want to bring the pedal up a bit. It has 308's fitted with the standard servo & no braided hoses. Would braided hoses bring it back up or have they possibly not been bled properly?

Problem you have with bigger brakes on a standard Corsa servo, I'd go with Astra gte 256 brakes then the pedal will feel better.

I presume i'll need the calipers to suit aswell will i? Was thinking of downgrading to 280 or 288 as i want 16" wheels but cant get them over 308's!

308s fit over most 16" wheels

And braided hoses will give you better pedal feel.

Probably needs bleeding, you still using drum rears?

Im using 308s front and 264mm rears on standard corsa c servo no problems and fitting 322 astra vxrs in feb

Maybe could use a corsa c servo?

Been told 288's will not even work well on the standard MC. Got 288's myself on my Astra MK2 with 22,2mm MC and braided hoses and that works really well I have to say... Got non ABS by the way.

You may get better results with a different MC, have you got a clue what diameter the one you have now is? It's usually printed at the nose right under it.... You probably need a mirror or camera to see it...
When advanced technology fails you need advanced personell using advanced tools and equipment to find advanced solutions... Somehow in either of these matters it keeps going wrong??!?
