corsa b wire colour for the interior lights

taken out the speedo clocks in a corsa b 1999 any ideas which colour wire going to the plug for the clocks is for the dash/interior illumination lights

cheers andy, is there anywhere behing the heater dials/ stereo where i can find the illumination wire rather than cut into the main speedo loom

yeah its at the radio (same colours grey/green). (it won't be variable brightness on the dimmer though) if you have that

if i use the one from the back of the clocks will it be variable dimmer
