Fuel pump ground wire

Where is the fuel pump ground wire in astra mk3 c14nz

Look near the fuel sender unit at the bottom of the tank

Okay thanks mate, car is playing up quite a bit its only getting 2 to 3 volts at the fuel pump fuse getting the 12 volts at the relay and last night i was only getting to 7 to 8 volts at the pump plug then came back to it and was only getting 2 to 3 volts ?

Most likely will need the ground replacing, just take it locally, remember red with blue stripe is +, don't earth the pump to the tank you should be able to lift the rear seats and see the cover for the pump, earth it around there somewhere

cant seem to see the earth wire mate

should be in a plug near the sender unit underneath the car, there are 2 plugs, one for fuel gauge and one for the pump

i found it mate, ran a wire from the plug up at the fuel pump and attached it to the body at the back seats and it started up no problem whats the best way to attach the wire to the body of the car ?

Either drill it and bolt it or self tapper or find a smallish bolt and ring terminal the end for the bolt
