morning all.
i have a mk3 astra with drums on back that i use for autotest, and there is one on sunday but i need to tighten the hadbrake but have no time before the day due to work. was just wondering what tools i will need?? just to save time on the day. many thanks guys

Yeh, just 10 or 13mm spanners needed and some WD40.

top job, thanks a lot pal. will use the flatbeds ramps to get under it
To tighten just the cable all you need is a deep 13mm socket on an extension. Adjuster is on the end of the handbrake lever, under the car by the middle exhaust box.
They're there, in their room.
Ah, I couldn't remember to be honest.
At he'll have taken a 13mm spanner.

managed to do it. thanks a lot guys, got the handbreak sorted. then on the 3rd run of the autotest the engine decided it had had enuff and blew up. rip astra
