Will a c20let go into a vectra b. If so what would b needed apart from engine

V6 front mount i think F20 or F28 box, complete C20LET loom and management, all LET engine ancillaries V6 or TDi rad & intercooler, equal length shafts to rule out torque steer, or just big block vec b shafts X18xe upwards, might have to check the splines on the gearbox end but sure they are the same, someone to wire it all up to the vec b loom, if yours has ABS don't worry about speedo cable as your ABS will deal with that, depending on model of vec b you have of course you will most likely have to lower the front end, if you have a V6 or DTi they are much heavier than the 4cyl engines.

a v6 mount will not fit a let, you'd be able to use a vectra x20xe mount i would of thought.

Clutch type has no bearing on the gearbox, just change the flywheel and change the cable shift for a rod type, then you can fit the F20 or F28, Vectra B 1.8 has rod change and will fit straight in, fitted the F28 in my Vectra b GSi phase 2, just took out the cables and changed the gearshift for a rod type, not as accurate as cable shift but allows you to avoid the F23 box which is long legged IMO !!!

If your going to use the F20 or F28 box use a F18 CSC and modify it to fit then it bolts straight in or you can use a F23 one and drill and tap out the gearbox and will fit without modifying the CSC

waynefox is saying the f20 and f28 are cable clutch type and vectra needs hydraullic clutch type setup. so you have to mod the earlier gearboxes

Yes but he is also saying you need a F23 which isn't the case, just change the bits I said and you can ditch the F23, I did it on mine and kept the hydraulic clutch
