vectra b missfire

I wonder if anyone can help. I have a missfire on my 2001 sri 130. I have changed coil pack n spark plugs as I was told this is a common fault. I dont av access 2 tech 2 equipment and have also been told it could b crankshaft sensor. It goes all the way up 2 rev limmiter so its not goin into limp mode. Also it fires on all 4 cylinders until it gets 2 a certain temp n then miss-fires. Leave it 2 cool down for an hour it fires on 4 until warm.

Agreed Paul, is EML light on? if so get it checked for fault codes, most likely to tell you where the problem is, never guess and just change what you think it may be, you could go on forever and it could save you £££s by a simple Tech2 or opcom diagnosis

What Vectra B is it X18XE, X20XEV, X20XER

X18XE1 engine I think, similar to the X20XER

Probably is and they are IMO, toss.

Seen more in the scrap yard than on the road. ECU and loom is made from paper.

2001 1.8 sri. I was a bit confused by this as I thought the z18xe was for the vectra c. The info was given 2 me by email from a breakers yard which listed everthing from chassis no through to last registered keeper date of disposal
