Hi all the lines are for the oil pressure, you connect it where the oil light sensor is, but you do need the right sensor, i think this is the right one...Vauxhall C20XE C20LET Oil Pressure Sensor Astra GTE GSI | eBay
ahh thanks mate i took it to be oil level lol
The one on the sump i think is for a warning oil level message..
And the warning light I think should be on the check control box...
When advanced technology fails you need advanced personell using advanced tools and equipment to find advanced solutions... Somehow in either of these matters it keeps going wrong??!?
The oil warning light is a red box around the oil can top left hand corner of the clocks if i remember right....its been about 9 years from the last time i seen them working in my old 1.0l nova lol
There are two connections on the digidash. One is for the "oil pressure low" which is the flashing red bar around the oil symbol on the dash. This connects to the existing oil pressure switch if you don't have the combined switch and pressure sender.
The other wire from the digidash connects to the second terminal of the sender if you have the correct sender. The sender has a variable resistance depending on the oil pressure and this will make the gauge on the digidash read correctly.
The oil level sender is to sense when the level of the oil is below a certain point rather than the pressure of the oil.

Make sure you've got the right transducer as there's 16v & 8v.
