Having just realised that the old faithful 256mm valver calipers wont fit on my Combo C, I was wondering what other people used for upgrades?

I think the originals were 260mm x 24 which is actually bigger, but wondered if I could use Meriva discs (280mm x 25 4 stud) with a pair of GM calipers that will bolt straight on?
